Background

Max Gecowets was born in Middleburg Heights, Ohio on July 19, 1999. He moved to Northville, MI when he was five and called that home for seven years. Soon after he was relocated with his family to Newport Beach, CA, where he played the role of Charlie in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory 6th Grade Play and his acting ability was discovered. Before that, no one, not even he or his family, realized that he was so comfortable on stage. Not until then, did anyone realize he was such a gifted performer. Soon after that performance, Max applied and was accepted to attend the Orange County School of the Arts in 2012. He's now in his junior year and is thriving at the school. He loves the audition process and appreciates any opportunity to be in front of a camera or an audience. He has a strong faith and does not take lightly the gifts God has given him. He intends to use them for His glory. Max resides with his mom, Carole, brother, Mason and dog, George, in Corona Del Mar, CA. He loves the beach and when he's not performing or studying you can find him surfing in the Pacific. His favorite surf spot is the Wedge.
